Your local auto parts store, Carquest stores for sure, carry or can get
overnight, special easily bendable lines with the correct German "bubble"
fittings already installed. I've never had much luck with treying to make
the flares on bulk line. I recently bought 2 foot long sections for a 356,
and my wholesale outlay was under 6 bucks. The lengths are odd, but you can
make'em work. The dealer is apt to sell you the same thing, IME. John
