Ideally you should remove the arm altogether and clean out the splines with an
X-acto knife. Typically what happens is that when the arm loosens up like this
you'll get shavings of the softer pot metal arm that get inbetween the
splines. If you just tighten the arm down without cleaning the splines they
won't be able to bite into the taper of the arm as well and it will strip again.
