My good friend and neighbour Stefan had such a hard clutch in his '95 at
~120 kmi which I diagnosed as failing, especially if compared with the
required clutch effort in my '97 at 1/3 of his mileage.
His first words after he had the clutch replaced were: damn, I didn't
know that the clutch was supposed to be this light. Almost to the level
of my wife's A4.
