[s-cars] H/L lens condensation

My 93 S4 has condensation on the inside of both H/L lenses.  Has anybody
had success using their trusty shop vac (exhaust port) to blow dry air in
through the bulb holder hole to try and de-humidify the inside of the H/L
assembly?

I read the details for R&R the headlamp lenses - but I thought I would look
for a quick fix.
