Chad, my man, please please run not walk to replace the tensioner NOW!
You are on borrowed time. You don't want to experience the disasterous
tensioner seizure, like many of us did.
Do you want my multi-chapter write-up on the bent valve replacement
triller in my wife's A4? Do you whant the pics? The captions that I
provided are in Russian 'coz the pics were intended for the Russian
automotive forum, but you should be able to get the general idea of what
wouldd happen if the tensioner seazes up.
