Assuming "Al Swackhammer" is a real person and not a pet name for your
3 pound sledge hammer, it's probably a dislodged sensor. Did you
remove the ABS sensor from the wheel? Anyway, if it is not seated
fully, it can cause a fault code. If the spokes inside the hub are
dirty (or grease covered) the sensor can have trouble counting revs.
If the ABS pumps just as the wheel stops, thats the most likely
culprit. Try reseating the sensor or sensors if you checked around the
other wheels while you were at it.
