Steve,

I assume that you are refering to either:
1.) the hose going from the solenoid operated wastegate frequnecy
valve (WGFV) to the wastegate diaphragm housing, or
2.) the hose from the WGFV to the port on the scroll of the
turbo compressor.
A substantial leak at any of these hose connections could definitely be
causing your problem, as Feico mentioned before.
