#2 was loose at the turbo compressor but it appears _not_ to
be the problem (or the only problem). All reconnected and tightened
and we still get the serpent hissssssss....
It's probably in one of the hoses I can't see without disassembly.
I will now have to take all three hoses out to check. These hoses have
been abused for about 100,000 miles now. Clamps should be replaced
at a minimum - it seems sort of foolish not to replace the hoses
also.
Who has decent prices on Samco hose sets and good clamps these
days? (or equivalent)
Also, I can't find the moisture trap. Folks have well described it
as does the Audi Factory Manual (predecessor to Bentley) - behind
the plastic cover on the center/top of the rear engine bay. All I
see there are a series of power electronics devices.
