 This is very interesting. May be more to the e-brake theory than meets the
eye. Since your e-brake is not great and you use it a lot are you yanking
the crap out of it? I've noticed that after parking in a steep driveway
where I have to pull the e-brake really hard the pedal seems firmer. I also
have the 993tt calipers up front and they do certainly take the pedal feel
to another level.

Yes, I yank the crap out of it often.  Why?  I also pull the ebrake alot...

Couldn't resist.  OK, I only 'yank' it when doing, er, slides.  Otherwise,
it's a normal progressive pull until I feel it's engaged, nothing violent.
