Yup, going to be doing that upgrade soon myself now that production has started! The green car in that photo belongs to a fellow employee (Marta), she's getting her car back tomorrow and it should look just like the one in the photo. Anxious to see the final product. I'll be taking mine in soon, just can't decide if I will paint black to match my 93 bumper trim or green like the photo...

I got an e-mail from the owner of LLTEK "the quality of the piece is better than the best we get from Europe", he was very happy with the results from production, so I'm curious to see the results from the mold.

Cheers, /James. '93 S4

Douglas, what a great opportunity to apply this bumper fix

Should solve your problem nicely :o)

Glad to hear the t-belt job went smoothly!

Listers,

Finally did the timing belt on my 95.5 S6 Avant. Thanks to the excellent
write-ups on Scott Mockery's site and Fred Munro's piece on Jimmy Pribble's
site, the job went pretty smoothly (until I stripped the allen socket on the
back bolt of the power steering pump bracket, but then it's an excuse to buy
a Dremel, eh?).

The job gave me a chance to look at my bumper from the backside and evaluate
the damage done last winter when I got too close to a cement hard snowbank
and pressed the bumper chin up. I broke four of the plastic connecting
struts that run behind the lower three grills. I don't see an easy way to
repair them. So, my question is, is the bumper on the 95.5 S6 Avant the
same as on the A6 for that year (or other years)? I ask the list because I
still can't get my US version of the FA to run under Windoze ME.

Thanks for your support.
