[s-cars] Twisted Key - Ignition sticky??

My 95 S6 has the same issue. When it is hot outside it gets worse. Releasing
any tension on the wheel has no effect on it. I tried to lubricate the key
slot with a penetrating lube that I have good experience with, and nothing
changed. That led me to believe that it is the mechanical part (wheel lock) of the
switch and not the tumblers. I think there are some recent posts about this as
a common "S car" problem. I didn't have time to read them all, and therefore
can't relate what ended up being the consensus for a cure.
Anyone else?
