[s-cars] Whoooshing sound near intercooler

Jon:

There are 2 hoses between the turbo and the intercooler. One connects
the turbo to the cross-over pipe, then the other from the x-over pipe to
the IC (aka Michelin Man hose). The one that usually goes is the
Michelin Man hose as oil accumulates in the bottom and rots it out. This
is the easiest hose to get at and once the belly pan is removed, it's a
15 minute job. The cost is ~$90. Since you are running a chipped ECU,
you should make sure your hoses are in good shape. Many have upgraded to
the silicone Samco hoses which withstand the high pressure of the extra
boost.
