[s-cars] stumbling in second...any ideas?

Hello,
My '93 S4 has developed a stumble under full throttle in second gear. I didn't notice it in any other gear but it could also be b/c i didn't give it full throttle in any other gear. I don't even know where to begin looking for the problem. Any assistance would be greatly apprecitated. The car has 139k mi. Thank you in advance.
