[s-cars] RE: RS-2 group buy or what's 1mm of cam gonna get you?

OTOH, one last thought, from the information I've seen, the difference
in static flow values for a stock head, w/ stock exhast valves at peak
lift isn't all that dramatic for the last 1mm of valve travel. I.e.,
measurements I've seen, suggest the difference between 0.35" of lift
(8.9mm) and .40" (10.2mm, which I think is past either cam profiles
maximum, but is the highest lift we measured at) is (relatively speaking
for measurements run at 28" H20) 128.2 cfm vs. 129.7 That's only a net
change of less than 2 cfm over an additonal lift of 1.3mm. That's
nothing like the rapid change that occures between 0 & 0.05" (0 ~> to
30.2 cfm) or from 0.05" of lift to 0.10", which adds another +28.5 cfm
of flow to 58.2 cfm.
