[s-cars] Audi 16" wheels

Neil:  Not that I don't believe you but....All my research sources
indicate that the 16 x 8 ET 40 five spoke forged (Geschmiedet) wheels
were made in Germany by Fuchs.  Joe Pizzimenti and I had a "debate" on
this sometime ago.  He said Ronal. I said Fuchs.  I said Ronal always
puts their name on their wheels.  Same with Speedline.  For example, my
Audi A8 five spoke 16 x 7 ET 37 winter wheels say Speedline. My original
equipment 15 x 7.5 six spoke "winter package" wheels say Speedline.
However, my OEM five spokes have no name on them. Now you are saying
your 16" five spoke wheels say Speedline.  I am bit surprised but not
really - they could have had multiple suppliers.

In the interest of adding more data to the archives, would it be
possible for you to shoot a digital picture of 1) the wheel and 2) the
portion of the wheel where it says Speedline?  Either email them to me
(you can't attach them to an Audifans S-car list post) or post them to
your picture poster space at AudiWorld if you have an account there (and
provide the URL links to the photos).
