Don't flame me - haven't even driven one yet.  But I must admit a loaded 
Subaru Legacy GT w. a 2.5L turbo 4 cyl. w/ 250 hp out of the box w/ AWD, a 
short shift kit and momo knob and pedals as options for $30k is intriguing. 
Anyone driven one? Must be some tuners tweeking these?  What turbo are they 
using - it has 8:3 to 1 compression.    I just love my 94 S but I must admit 
my 230k miles on my Stage IV monster is starting to get me looking around to 
see what is out there.  I drove the S60R and was moderately impressed but it 
is a little small - also needs a little more power but then again I am used 
to about 100 more HP.  I think someone is doing a chip to get it to the 335 
range.  I thought it handled well and liked the 3 suspension modes.   What 
else is out there - I like the S8 but want a stick.  I like the A6 2.7t 6spd 
and Audi is offering certified '01s w/ 0% financing but mods seem to be a 
bit more expensive w/ dual turbos and having to pull the motor to do 
anything significant.  Does Mercedes make any 4 matics w/ a stick and turbo 
or at least a big V8?? that will compare w/ our Ss w/ a few tweaks.  BMW is 
coming out with a 530xi but not enough power for me.  I like the 330xi but 
again too small and your stuck w/ the power you get.  The S4 V8 is also 
small and I am sure I would be getting 12 mpg the way I drive - I get 18-20 
w/ my S.  Any thoughts??
