[s-cars] NAC- table saws, toolchests and workbenches

I know a lot of you are very handy and knowledgeable about stuff- can
anyone help me out with table saws? I'm buying one as a Xmas present,
need to know what features are must-haves and what makes one brand or
model superior to others.

Looking for a $500 range saw. Also, the best vendor to buy from in
terms of price and reliability.

Also, any recommendations on a good, ball-bearing tool chest
(single-wide, not double) as well as a small workbench (like 28-30")?
I'm looking at Craftsman's mid-range 6-drawer chest for around $300
for the tool chest (the roller part, not the top piece) and still
looking for a good, small workbench.
