Mike, Hap, Steve and maybe Trevor: Please do not misunderstand my original
thinking: I think what you have done in developing a FMIC for your cars is
great, wonderful and outstanding. Its just that you probably started out with
different objectives, i.e." lets make this sucker good for 400+hp". My orginal
question to the list on FMIC alternatives on Friday was for something less
aggressive (say 330 hp) AND less intrusive (no cutting of the front bumper
support). Just something that is suitable for an RS2 set-up as the final
solution and will work better with this set-up than the existing left front
fender OEM intercooler. I haven't seen one person (okay maybe Teddy) who thinks
that this is doable. I don't want to copy Mikes design for $500. I want a
medium-sized FMIC for the $1000 range that works with just an RS2 set-up, not
the balls a' flying 400+hp set-ups that others have or are striving for.
