my comment was just responding to taka's. actually, 400 rwhp for a
supercharged DOHC 4.6 is on the conservative side. i know people who
have made well over 500 rwhp, street legal in CA even.

you have to define "handle". dry performance on smooth roads, performance
on icy/snowy roads, or off-roading ability?

taka already has an audi. he's looking for something different.

let's face it - as much as we love our UrS cars, they don't handle all
that well. mine is a '92 with the stiffest stock suspension and a
rear antiroll bar, and it's a 4000 lb. understeering pig. one of its
biggest problems is the triangulated front antiroll bar, which guarantees
steering weirdness and understeer no matter what you do. i bought the car
as a fast, comfortable street car, and it excels in that role. but it is
not a particularly good-handling car when pressed hard.

no, i said "cheap". we are talking about things like shocks, springs,
camber plates. the '99+ mustangs are better than the earlier years in
that regard.

i don't know. it's been so long since it was stock that i can't remember
what it was like. however, any '99+ mustang will. they have better
suspension geometry, wider track, more power, and the ability to put
really big tires on them.

to pick up ford's tagline: have you driven a mustang... lately?
