You're right on that.
Spool times on a GT35R on a 2.0L 4G63 is in the
4k-4200 range with the right backhousing, but stock
valvetrain allows you to rev to 8k without floating a
valve (to date, of course). A little engine work and
you can get them to rev up there and the GT35R will
still be pushing a decent amount of pressure up top
(9500).
