german transaxle ...beware...Re: [s-cars] Tranny rebuild?

hey, I'm glad to bash German transaxle.

A shop in san francisco sent my transmission to German Transaxle.    I had a
few disagreements with the SF shop about cost and time.   When I got the car
back, first gear was broken, reverse was hard to shift into.     About a
year later I had it repaired again by a different shop and they has such a
hard time with it, that they called German Transaxle to figure out what
happened.

Ready for this?   German Transaxle admitted to re-assembling the
transmission incorrectly (leaving out a part or two) just to spite the shop
in San Francisco.
