I ran 17x8 BBS RX wheels on my S6 avant, with 255/40 17" tires. 
That filled the wheelwells pretty good, but then again, my avant 
was lowered.

I have a set of 5 9 spoke OEM Audi Celebration wheels. They're 
similar to the RS4 wheel in look and they're 17 x 7.5". They were 
professionally refinished by RimPro recently and I've got four of 
the correct Audi center caps for them.

I was going to use these for my snow tires, but I ended up going 
with 16" wheels.
