Tony,
I disabled my DRL on my 1997 S6, but there actually is an on/off
control, it just automatically comes on with the iginition switch.
If you want to keep your DRL, you could still relay the circuit, just
install the relay like normal, and use the 12v at the headlight
connector for your trigger line.
