[s-cars] my car stalled in the parking lot this late morning

engine was warm, I was in second gear going very very slow, tried to turn the wheel and their was no power, then I realized the car stalled, it happened so smooth I did not notice it, could it just be cause my rpms were to low to keep it running in gear, but I would have felt it stall then right? it started back up no problem, no problem since. 
I wonder why, driver error or car error?
