You would likely have to re calibrate things quite a bit.
The air density after the IC would still be much different than that of
taking the reading from atmosphere.
Also there is a temp sensor in the MAF, it would not be happy in hotter air
than atmosphere either.
The logic with-in the MAF may take all this into account, but I doubt that
it would work all that well.
