[s-cars] Weather related double whammy

Rich,

your battery is under the rear seat.

there are two screws securing the seat located where one's calf's would 
be if they are seated on the seat- one below each "window" seat. 
unscrew them and pull up on the seat. the battery is under the 
diver-side seat. undo the bracket holding the battery in place and 
remove. re-assemble in reverse order.

and no, the ECU will not go into any mode requiring further steps..... 
aside from hooking up a battery to it again at some point to use it. ;)
