[s-cars] Switched 12 Volt source

I would like to hard wire my Valentine 1 into my 95 S6 Avant and was  
wondering where is the best source for a switched 12 volt supply?  I  
am planing on mounting the remote display in front of the instrument  
cluster, so a location as close to that is preferable.
