Welp, i'm still on the fence with this car, do i or do i not sell.... I had
bought Mark Simones 1990 90 20v some years back, and then tore it down to
install a 94 S4 engine. I enlisted the help of a Helio Catroneves/Penske
racing crew member to do most of the work. Currently the engine is installed
and all of the electronics/wiring is done. The turbo system is plumbed but
not finished. The engine has about 75k miles on it. A new RS2 turbo, IM and
EM are already installed. A custom Turbonetics intercooler is also included.
The interior of the car is out in order to facilitate a clean and original
appearing installation. To say this is being done professionally is an
understatement. The gentleman from Penske treated this just like an Indy
car. The wiring is properly spliced using the orig. S4 harness and
incorporated the factory trip computer. I prob. should say this, but there
is quite a bit of real indy car materials being used, as well as use of the
fab shop. The car isn't too bad, but does need updating in the suspension
and brake dept. The black paint is a little dull. The interior was nice
however. I also have the parts for a B3? front end conversion.

Unfort. the Penske guy is very tied up with his career and is unable to
finish the project. Personally I'm up to my neck in projects as well, so I
'thought' about selling it as it stands. The hard work is done. It rolls and
just needs the interior reinstalled and a few things plumbed up front. I'm
not letting it go for peanuts however, I have more $$$ wrapped up in this
than I'll ever get out of it, other than the pleasure of finishing it and
driving it. Just curious what it may be worth and if by chance i get an
interesting offer or trade, i may sell it. Thanks!
