[s-cars] Re: [Es2] MAF to intake side of turbo

I meant if you're going to have to reprogram the system anyway you may as well get a big mamoo MAF, put it wherever you want it, and then re-program.

I have a hard time believing that just moving the MAF could matter much; I suspect Mihnea could improve throttle response wherever the MAF is located.

Is this really worth the trouble? Makes more sense to me to get a big mamoo MAF (with less impediment to flow) and re-program with that, which has been done. And don't I remember Trevor Frank (and perhaps others) finding that the MAF didn't have much to do with controlling anything after 1/2 throttle or so??

Well, I don't know if its worth the trouble and so far no one on this list does so why not find out? It would take me a couple hours to move it and when Mihnea gets hear I can have him tune it like he has done for others who are in the 450-500hp range and having no problems so far. My biggest reason for this over just getting a bigger MAF is that my car is a coupe and with the tube header there is very little room for a bigger MAF. I also like the fact that people who have done this have experianced better throttle responce which is always an issue when using a big turbo. So is it worth it, sure why not, I can always change it back.
