[s-cars] Lubing the HVAC fan, is it possible?

Hi all,

I posted about the water blowing out of the vents a couple of weeks
ago and did get around to clearing the drains, seems to have worked. 
However, that fan now chirps like a sick birdy sporadically.  I know
on the V8 several listers sprayed some good ole WD 40 into some
crevice that lubed the fan and provided extended operation.  Is this
possible in the S car?  Anyone done this?
