Sean,

It isn't guaranteed that the chipset will be anything but stock.

When I started down the RS2 route I didn't find out until I had pulled
the turbo that my EM was the RS2EM. Obviously I kept it, replaced the
turbo and other RS2 pieces.

Opened the ECU and found it had been modified, but taken back to
"stock" probably at the same the the previous owner replaced the turbo
(with a stock turbo).

Why oh why he did that I don't know why, but sadly I'm proof having an
RS2 EM doesn't mean you still have the other performance goodies.

PS But I Hope he still does have a modded ECU!
