[s-cars] Into the Door - Again

Damn, I was hoping that I wouldn't have to do this.
As you may recall, I had to tear my passenger side door apart to get
the outer latch out for a repaint/blend after replacing the front
fender.
Got things all put back together with full functionality and no
additional wind noise that I could detect. I left the last piece of
handle trim off (the one that hides the first two screws to come out)
in case I had to remove the inner panel for any reason.
Well, the other half was commenting on it a few days ago, so I put it
in. Last night, my daughter could not open the door from the inside.
Sure nuff, pull on the handle but no activity at the latch. Felt like
the proper resistance on the handle though.
Just pulled the handle out hoping that the cable had come unhooked,
but no dice. Looks like I'll have to tear the whold damn thing apart
again to gain access to the latch linkage system and see what is not
right.
If anyone has an alternative suggestion, I would love to hear it now.
Baring that, if anyone wants photos of the inside of an S6 front door,
let me know.
