[s-cars] Coil Replacement Options?

Mike: Interesting thoughts on the GM (Corvette) coils. However, although the
remote mounting would be cooler, I would wonder about the extra time and
resistance to get the charge from the coil to the sparkplug over the longer
distance. This what I thought Audi was doing when they converted the 20vt 3B to
the AAN, i.e. got away from remote coils (okay, one coil in that case) and the
longer leads to the individual coils and the short spark plug connectors. This
change (and maybe some ECU fiddling that it permitted), resulted in 10 hp
increase (217 to 227 SAE hp (220 to 230 DIN hp)).
