[s-cars] Press in/out rear bushings?

The squeaking is driving me crazy, so I ordered 2 new lower control arm
bushings for the rear of my 95 S6. Is it possible to press these in with
the trapezoid lower control arm still on the car? I guess a portable
wheel bearing press thing does the job. 
I plan to combine this job with a new diff output shaft seal, since that
is also messy...
Freezing the new bushings and a bunch of muscle the best way?

Thanks for any hints to make things easier.
