It all depends on use and driving habits. Common issues are clutch pedal
getting stiff as the surfaces wear sometimes to the point of breaking
the actual pedal arm itself. Also the slave cylinder has been know to
fail. As for bearings, I'd say no different than any other car.

Big reds (or blacks) can be had for less than $1100 if you shop around,
BTDT. This is with the RS2 bracket and 323x30 rotors from a S8.
