[s-cars] 1988 90 quattro - good or bad?

Gabriel owns one, I'm sure he will chime in.
I have a 20v I5 (7A), different engine, but same other than trim and
luxury do-dads.
I find it quite expensive to repair, mainly because not that many were
imported and parts are unique. The engine bay is cramped (5 cyl) making
engine repairs time consuming.
Dash lights and interior switch lights tend to burn out easily.
