I disagree wholeheartedly on your oil assumption.  If you run higher than
stock boost levels and use Safeway oil, you will discover that there is a
major difference in the quality of different motor oils-as you're trying to
figure out why your K24 failed.  I suggest getting yourself a Fumoto valve
and changing your own oil with good stuff.  Guarantee your cost will be well
below the $80 your European auto shop charged ;-)
