ive also learned that you are able to mig weld stainless but that it changes 
the chemical composition of the metal and is (as from the general 
description) no longer 'stainless' steel.... and as a side note, i was also 
told that stainless is a bit misunderstood by name.. its not stain proof as 
i thought, it is truly stain less as in: stains less, than other types of 
steel, then stains even less as you go up the T-scale
