I researched it for some stainless railing work I'm doing. Lots of
little spot welding which is a pain with tig because it takes so much
time. what I found out is that you can weld stainless with mig, but it
takes a non-standard gas. (in addition to the correct wire size, feed
rate, yadda, yadda)
