[s-cars] high flow race cats?

well ive hopefully filed down my boost issues to one of two things. 1:faulty
W/G diaphragm=cheap&easy...waiting for arrival or, 2:clogged cat=expensive
and complicated since the bastards that installed this stromung welded the
cat directly instead of welding flanges on.
so im wondering what other options i have for catalysts... i have 2cats
from a parts car w100k miles that are appealing after being quoted $899! for
an HJS race cat from NEA... supposedly the drop from 400 to 100 cells can
have an increase upwards of 20hp.
anyone know of other options?
im now stuck with having to cut my exhaust apart to remove the cat, fhak!
...i have myself, friends and a mig welder, but tig welding is the only
acceptable option for stainless, correct?
