Thks Bill,
Other than the ignition switch coming apart, seemed more of a two part switch as unlike the integrated new unit, seemed to look okay though, I did beat it up a bit getting it out, but that is another story. Could my vacuum problem be loading something else, my pump runs for a while after I open the door locks. And cooler temperatures seem to be better than hot.
I did discover one thing, changing the relay behind the ignition switch is way easier from the top than from the bottom !!!! Never will I try that again!!
Thks Bill,
Randy

Subject: Oh no... ignition may not have solved problem!!
Randy enquired
"Soooo, if it is not the ignition..... what the *!%# is it ??? Is
there another stinkin relay that could be causing this???"
Randy,
Boy this is what I would call classic symptoms of ignition switch
failure, but if you've changed that and still have issues...
I have read of the actual key cylinder failing or the turn signal
itself failing but dont know if these failures produce the same
symptoms???
Anybody else know?
If you changed the ignition switch was it visibly cracked I wonder?
It's probably something dumb at this point.
Keep us posted.
