AH HA! No need to worry. Bob, you're right, although I figured it out for 
myself just before checking your message. It appears as if all S6's, or at 
the very least my early model in particular, do indeed have the 
pre-tensioner system attached to the seat belt spools! 

After nearly wetting myself hearing that my S6 had the proconten system, I 
thought for a minute about the explosive system on the seat belt spool, and 
remembered seeing something odd and pneumatic looking on the spool when I 
was installing my audio system. Sure enough, when I climbed into my car 
tonight and pulled off the plastic trim, there was the explosive tensioner. 

I'm sure not too many people care, but it sure gave me a sigh of relief.
