I would think that a good mechanic could rig a heavy metal strap that 
would go around the transmission and with  bolts and nuts, attach to the 
procon where the two mountings are missing.  I would not recommend 
welding anything to the transmission housing.

What is the difference between the EDU and the DSY model?
