Dave Brian Bilotti and I worked with Dave Stone to build what I had done
with my car. Dave sells a right/left heims with a length that I speced
out so that it will not destroy the cv boots. We also have split
collers that we got for them and I believe that Dave sells them as well.

Subject: [s-cars] Right/left threaded Heim joints/links for HSRSB

I have a used HSRSB on the way in the mail, and remember reading that at
least one person had replaced the included right/right threaded end
links
with ones that are right/left threaded, so the length could be adjusted
without disconnecting. Does anyone have any more info on this, or specs
so
I can try to source the links before I get the bar? Is it a worthwhile
mod?
Seems like it might help with potential spring-rubbing or other
clearance
issues (I'm using H&R Sports, Bilstein Sports with ECS 10mm spacers on
an
Avant). Also, how about adding split collars outside of the two pivot
bushings to restrain the bar laterally? Additional bracing for control
arm
mounting points?

Any installation tips? I'm thinking the best way would be wheels off,
but
rear control arms on jackstands so that the suspension is close to its
static position.

Thanks,

David Mackintosh
