[s-cars] Brake Light Problem Back Again

Douglas,
it may sound very naive, but could it be dirt/debris in the system
that has either worked it's way loose (lining of high-pressure hose)
or just old, gummed-up residual fluid from some other time it leaked,
that was still in some crevasse?
I have this "type" of symptom on my avant as well (when i was driving
it) and i believe i need to flush the system several times to get it
cleaned out. Yours may not be this at all though.
