[s-cars] Lower door trim - report.

Arrived from ECS yesterday. All of it was straight as an arrow - no damage
from overzealous gorillas. :)
 I see how to seal it so it won't rust. No problems there, with a little
black sealing silicone caulk.
 What I do not see, is how to get the front trim caps back on after I get
the strips onto the doors. Will this become evident when I yank the old
strips off?
 I was also thinking of laying down a thick coat of paste wax on the body
under the strip - is that worthwhile, or a waste of time?
