Squishy sidewall I thought made for better straight line traction not worse.
You don't see drag cars running stiff sidewalls and high air pressure, they
actually run low pressure and if you watch you can see the sidewalls bending
and contorting under the pressure of acceleration.
I would think having a really stiff sidewall and over inflated tire would
help you lose traction?
