[s-cars] Acetone in Gasoline?

Just went through this on the Saab92x.com <http://Saab92x.com> website.
Passed it through
my Physical Chem prof friends. Basically, sounds like hooey. Did the
percentage thing too, just to see what kind of amounts there would be
in the "mixture". About 0.03%. Don't think it'll amount to a hill of beans.
As I recall, (it's been about 3 hectic weeks, so I may have early onset
altzheimers on my recollection here) Acetone is actually more volatile
(i.e. higher vapor pressure) than gasoline, so if that's correct, then
Acetone
in sufficient amounts (of which I think 0.03% isn't) would actually lower
the octane of the fuel. Am I correct here. Bob?
