Cody Payne already posted on August 31st that he was runnin acetone in
his tank. I'll copy his original post:

I have been running pure acetone on a couple of occasions this Summer
with no ill-effects. I put in 3oz per 10 gallons of gas which is the
highest recommended. The 2 times I ran this I got around 350+ Miles
with 3 gallons left in the tank. Usually I get around 320 with 3
gallons left. City/Highway driving Not a huge increase but an increase
none the less. I cant say that the miniscule amount helped with the
Octane rating. However perhaps that it allowed the fuel to better
atomize thus burn cleaner and burn more efficiently leading to ~35-40
miles more per tank.

Currently I am not running in the car..but would not hesitate to give
it
another shot..just haven't made it over to WalGreens ;)
YMMV
