True, that may be the case, WRT the projector. I have never taken more
than a cursory look at those. So I may be missing something. However,
I think the beam patter is more controlled by the lens... the cutoff and

FWIW, I've got Krazy Keith Maddock's Chernobyl'd Euro unit aside my DOT
halogen projector in my garage, from when I lobotomized mine for HID
(Super K - I donated the lens to Dave Ellis here last week 8-). Karma
baby!). The reflector on the Euro is more bulbous, the DOT slightly
more conical (less round toward the back). That, the different lens,
the inclusion of a city light bulb, and the adjustable Euro vs. DOT
cutoff selector are the differences.
What effect the Euro's bulbous reflector has on light output I don't
know / care, just my useless tidbit there for ya's to chew on. I'm sure
its that way for a reason tho and likely improves things.
And I put antiseize on them. And I didn't put antiseize on them.
